Being cold is no fun, but it’s a lot more bearable when you can look fabulous šŸ™‚

Now that we’re full swing into December, it’s time to move on to winter fashion and that starts with probably the most important thing you’ll need this season-outerwear. Now a plain black coat has its place, but consider a couple more options this season to maximize your closet to its fullest potential!

1. Peacoat
With the cut and shape, this coat is a classic. It can be worn with anything, but it’s a great option to top those dressier outfits. To keep it classic, look for a peacoat in a neutral color such as black, gray, navy, etc.

2. Puffer
Wearing this type of coat is a surefire way to stay warm. Puffer coats used to be just for function (and skiers), but recently they’ve been making a comeback as a stylish fashion option as well. Win win!

3. Camel Coat
Right up there with the peacoat, this is an iconic classic that instantly ups your chic level.

4. Fur Coat
Not only will you be extra warm, but a fur coat doesn’t seem like an afterthought to your outfit like some coats can…it just seems to complete it!

5. Statement Coat
Technically fur could be considered a statement and this could go along with #4, but with so many fun styles out there, this will be a good reason to treat yourself to another coat šŸ™‚ It’s good to have all the basics covered, and once you do, it’s time to add a statement piece! Sure, nobody needs a bright red coat or a bold leopard piece, but this coat is sure to elevate your outfit and your mood.
