Who knew that you could make a canvas out of a shoebox? I knew all those shoes I haven’t even worn yet would come in handy! Now you have a reason to go buy new shoes…right?

Here’s how you can make a canvas out of shoebox lids for free or next to nothing.

Get a pile of shoebox lids you want to use and spray paint them the color of your choice.

There are many options you have after this. You could get creative and use different colors of spray paint with tape, you could mod podge different things on it, or you could write/draw quotes. I chose some lovey dovey quotes for our master bedroom even though I’m not much of a hand lettering artist…but I like how it turned out!

Best part is that it was absolutely free!

Bonus: eucalyptus wreath made out of twig wire and dried eucalyptus. Sorry no instructions, because I don’t have any…but that’s usually how I roll. I’m not very patient (hey, at least I’m self aware!), I don’t read instructions, and I just like to wing it. 99% of the time it works out okay. My husband would probably give you a lower percentage though… 😉

The scarf is a souvenir from Barbados and the headboard is made out of closet shutter doors. I just love reusing things and making them pretty again!
