Isn’t Valentine’s Day just grand? Maybe the guys don’t think so…;) But you get a whole day dedicated to showing your boyfriend/husband how much you love them (and vice versa)! Whether you’re the couple that takes trips, stays in with pizza, or goes out to dinner, there’s something for everyone and an outfit too!

Here are some ideas to inspire you what to wear next week:

Dinner:
This is your chance to get fancy and wear your favorite clothes! If you don’t want to be super cliche by wearing red and pink, red and black and black and pink are good alternative color combos. valentine's day outfitvalentine's day outfit

Movie:
Stay cute and trendy with red skinny jeans and a black silk lace top. By wearing it over a t-shirt it looks more movie appropriate.

Show:
Maybe you live in a bigger city where you can go to dinner shows and see plays or whatever else your city might offer. Simpler outfits with fancier jewelry look great…and don’t forget an eye-catching clutch!

Night in:
Staying home but want to look great and stay cozy? Nothing wrong with that. A silk lace cami is not only on trend, but will make you feel very fancy. Pair it with a cozy cardigan and stretchy leggings and you can create the date night at home!

Whatever you end up doing I hope you have a great time! Not sure yet what my husband and I will do, but we’re off to New York City tomorrow for NYFW events and maybe we’ll get to do something in the big city…so excited!

Love these ideas! You inspired me. I wore red skinnies and a black blazer to work, and switched out the blazer for a dinner at home. Whatd you do? thanks for the tips!

Such a good idea! It sounds like a good outfit. Titus and I didn’t do anything for Valentine’s Day so I did the comfy at home look!
