All the holiday parties have come and gone, but winter has stayed. I’m not totally sick of the snow and cold yet so I’m not complaining, especially when winter fashion means snuggling up in cozy knits. Since we all tend to gravitate towards chunky and cozy pieces this time of year, here are 5 ways to wear a chunky cardigan to get you through winter. Stay warm and stay cute is what I always say! Well, not really, but now is a good time to start. 😉

5 Ways to Wear a Chunky Cardigan

1. cardigan + stripes + ripped skinny jeans + sneakers
This outfit is a mix of cute, casual, and edgy. Beige/cream and a striped print look great together. Sneakers are a nice casual element to add to this look.

2. chunky cardigan + white shirt + leggings + sneakers + layered jewelry
This outfit looks effortless and even though you’re wearing it with leggings, the neutral color palette still makes the outfit look elevated. Accessorize the outfit with dainty gold jewelry for a minimalistic look.

3. chunky cardigan (belted) + skinny jeans + heels
Wearing a casual cardigan doesn’t mean the outfit can only be casual! Belt it and add heels for a classy-without-trying-too-hard look.

4. chunky cardigan + black jeans + OTK boots + black shirt + hat
A cream-colored cardigan pops against an all-black ensemble, and the OTK boots and hat make it look posh!

5. chunky cardigan + white skinny jeans + white shirt + neutral shoes
Winter whites always look classy, especially around this time of year. If you have a white or cream cardigan, accompany it with other pieces in the same shades.
