Plaid is pretty much a holiday outfit go-to. It states that Christmas parties are coming! Though I don’t have any plaid in my collection yet, I want to inspire you (and myself!) with 6 different ways you could wear plaid for the holiday season. Here’s to looking fabulous for all the Christmas and New Years parties coming up!
6 Ways to Wear Plaid for the Holiday Season
1. Plaid dress
This flirty plaid dress is made warm with a gorgeous fur stole. I love adding a girlier touch to outfits, so this is accesorized with lots of velvet, bows, and sparkles!
2. Plaid blanket scarf
Just carry over your blanket scarf from fall to add to this winter outfit. The leather skirt adds some cool texture and no outfit is complete without a little bling!
3. Plaid Pants
Not a dress or skirt person? No problem. Channel a less girly look with a tailored blazer and pant.Â
4. Buffalo check shirt + tulle skirt
I currently have this print all over my house for my Christmas decorating, but it works on clothes too! I love the pattern mixing with the leopard heels and a red lip adds a nice touch.
5. Plaid shirt + white skirt
What says Christmas parties more than a fun poofy skirt? This outfit has lots of touches of sweetness, including the velvet clutch and shoes. I’m a big fan of velvet at the moment.
6. Plaid midi skirt
For those that aren’t into all that poof, here is a nice, more form fitting skirt dressed up with fancy accessories.Â
Do you have any plaid in your closet? If I had to go buy something right now off this list I would buy the plaid midi skirt…what about you?
LOVE all of these! I never thought I’d like the midi skirts but I love it here in plaid! Good to know I can pull some of my fall plaid into winter.
I want to try a midi skirt myself!
