Wondering how to wear florals in fall?

Or maybe you’re wondering…can you even wear florals in fall?

Is a fish wet?

The answer is yes. To both of them. 😉

Yes, technically you can wear whatever you want, but how can your summery apparel be weather and season-appropriate? The key is to balance out the summery print with dark colors and add layers! If you’re going to add a jacket or cardigan, you’d want them to be in deep colors such as black, army green, maroon, etc. Save the light colors for spring and summer!

Another good thing to remember when bringing summer clothes into fall is to add other items that seem “fall-y”, like a hat, scarf, and/or boots.

This dress pictured below is a summer dress I’ve worn frequently in the warm weather and below is how I wear it in the fall.

By adding browns and blacks, it works. It also helps that the base of my dress is blue and not pastel. That is an important thing to keep in mind when bringing your florals into fall!
