Spring is easily my favorite season (with fall coming in at a close second) and I love everything about it. The fresh, clean air after being stuck inside for most of the winter, the warm sun, and of course the new fashion! There are lots of new spring trends that come out each year, but here are my favorite and the ones that I’ll be trying out this season!
My Favorite Spring Trends + how I’ll wear them
1. Espadrille flats & wedges
Not a new shoe, but I’m so glad to see them coming back this season. They are so fun and flirty! I’d pair the wedges with cute flouncy dresses and the flats with a pair of straight leg jeans.
2. Yellow dress
A bold color and depending on the shade you get, it looks good on anyone. I’m leaning more towards the darker tone instead of the bright neon color. Yellow looks great with beige/tan or white for spring/summer.
A cute print that always seems to come back this time of year. I love the idea of a simple dress paired with white sneakers. And if you couldn’t tell I’m a huge fan of round bags and white sunnies this season too!
4. Belt bag
This glorified fanny pack trend is one you either love or hate, and I can’t say I love it quite yet, but I am intrigued and I do want to try it out. I’d wear it over a blazer.
5. Polka dots
Just so feminine, classic, and cute. Polka dots on a top or dress is my favorite and not much else is needed with this look…perhaps a bold shoe for some extra fun!
It’s not spring fashion without talking about florals. They really just brighten up your whole look. I love this print most in pretty little dresses.
7. Straw bags
Something you’ll see a bit more in summer, but I love the casual ease it brings to an outfit. I like these bags best paired with a simple outfit.
8. Mixed prints & colors
This season there’s going to be a lot of mixing prints and mixing colors going on. There are lots of bold color combos to try! Don’t be shy, here’s how to color mix and 5 ways to mix prints to get you started.
