It’s no secret that Paris is the fashion capital of the world. Parisian haute couture brands such as Chloé, Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Hermès never fail to deliver breathtaking designs and refined tailoring that exudes elegance.
So to no surprise, this Paris Fashion Week spring/summer 2022 season did not disappoint at all. The week was filled with standout looks from some of the biggest names in the fashion world to some of the new up-and-coming brands.
Valentino’s spring/summer 2022 collection was some of my all-time favorite looks from the runway. The 97 looks showcased a myriad of formal ensembles like suit jackets and gowns arriving in rich purples and greens. The city of lights also had spectacular fashion presentations from Akris which saw designs that were inspired by the simplicity of an apron’s A-line silhouette.
There were also other stellar designs from PFW that I’m sure that you would love to recreate. So if you consider yourself a fashionista or simply enjoy staying up to date with the newest styles from Parisian designer brands – you have clicked on the right post.
We have put together some of the classiest looks from Paris Fashion Week that you can recreate with more affordable options. Because realistically speaking, a lot of us ordinary folks can’t splurge on haute couture clothes. But the good news is that it is easy to bring the runway into our closets.
Scroll on to learn how:
1. White monochromatic suiting
There are some looks from the PFW runways that can be quite over-the-top and only appropriate for editorial shoots, but luckily, there were some styles that can be worn in real life. For instance, white suiting that dominated Akris’ spring/ summer 2022 collection can be incorporated into your office wardrobe. Check out this inexpensive alternative below from Dillards to add to your work attire.

2. Rainbow Colors
Splashes of fruity hues, stripes, and abstract prints graced the runways of Paris Fashion Week. It is almost as if the designers are begging you to have fun and add pops of colors to your looks. The sweeping bright colors at Stella Mccartney, Christian Dior, and Chanel are a way to celebrate being able to dress up again as the world starts to open.
Of course, you can and should wear colors that you think look best on you, but experimenting with some bold colors is a great way of adding a pop of playful colors to your wardrobe.

Elie Saab is popular for his extravagant red-carpet-ready designs, but for the spring/summer 2022 Paris fashion week collection, he took a slightly different approach. In his ready-to-wear line, he featured minimalistic colorways and A-line silhouettes.
Some of his standout looks include crisp white blouse and gray skirts that perfectly capture the light, effortless, and sophisticated style of this spring-summer 2022 collection.
