With a new season comes a new set of trends. Though in the fashion world it usually ends up being the same set of trends recycled over and over again. Hey, this is why I say don’t get rid of anything! And also why I’m a fan of thrifting because you can get the original “trend” without spending a lot of money on them. Here’s a roundup of the spring trends for 2019 and what you should keep your eye on.

Spring Trends To Keep Your Eye On

1. Vintage Florals
Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking. How many times have I used this Meryl Streep quote and how many more times can I get away with it? Haha. This season you’ll see florals in more of a vintage style and mixed and matched in crazy patterns.

2&3. coral + puffy sleeves
I’m combining two different looks here because when they look good together, why not? Coral has been named Pantone’s color of the year. Remember how last year lavender was named the color of the year and you saw it everywhereeee? Expect to see the same with coral now. But it’s a happy cheery color, so no problems here!

Puffy sleeves are fun and dramatic and I like the extra touch that they add to a look.

4. crochet
I like the patchwork/ crochet look. Something about it is summery and makes me think about being on a beach!

Here are some other things not pictured, but expected to be trendy this year!

5. shades of beige head to toe
For a girl that loves neutrals, you’d be surprised to know I don’t have any pictures on file of me wearing a head to toe beige look. That’s a real shame. Either way, I am way too excited for this glorified oatmeal look and best believe I’ll be getting lots of those photos soon.

6. bucket hats
I’m not a big fan of them now, but I say now because I’ve been known to change my mind. A little too much of a throwback for me, but I could see how they can add a certain childish charm to a look.

7. lace
Lace adds a delicate and feminine touch to any outfit and I think it just looks charming for spring!

8. tie-dye
Just like #6, I don’t know if I can get quite behind this look. Too many memories of girls at summer camp tying their oversized tie-dye shirts in a knot. Anyone else remember that? But now those tie-dye shirts are cool? Oh, fashion. You fickle thing.

9. suit set
I have my eye on a couple sets because I’m obsessed! If menswear isn’t your thing, you can find a suit in a girly color like pink or yellow. Or something deliciously bold like this red one. I think that would help to bridge the gap.

10. acid denim
It seems like we get a lot of our trend inspiration from the 80’s. Another one I don’t think I could see myself getting behind.

11. boilersuit
I’ve seen boilersuits that range from pretty fashionable to straight up utility. I think the right person with the right styling could pull these off. It’s just a more interesting jumpsuit after all.

12. biker shorts
Looks like these aren’t going away just yet. I tried out two of the controversial trends, this being one of them, and I don’t have any plans to wear them for real just yet.

13. fringe + feather
I think this style is fun and will add a cute, whimsical look to any outfit!

I’m a big believer in picking and choosing what you like. So what spring 2019 trends would you like to try out this year and what would you leave behind?

I think florals, feathers, and crochet are my favorites for this year, though I really loved last years trends!
