High heels will forever be a classic wardrobe piece. But, boy, we want them to be comfy so we can actually walk in them! And not only that, but we want them to be fabulous pairs too. Why? From elevating your look to just feeling more confident, there’s power in wearing high heels. Here are 9 of the most comfortable designer heels (based on reviews) for you—whether you desire a stiletto or a block heel, we’ve got you covered!
1. Manolo Silver Satin Jewel Buckle Pumps
Attending the Oscar afterparty? Or a grand wedding? These satin pumps with sparkling jewels are a showstopper. And according to women, they are super comfortable too. You know, as far as heels go. This means you can wear them all night without excusing yourself to sit down due to an aching foot.
When looking for comfortable designer heels, pay attention to the heel size. Generally, a smaller heel will be easier to walk in and therefore, more comfortable. These manolo shoes have a 70mm pump, which roughly equals 2.7 inches. No teetering in 4 inch heels over here!
What women are saying: “This is the perfect shoe. The heel height is perfect. It isn’t so low it screams “kitten” and it isn’t the 4-5″ heel that becomes unbearable after the first few hours. I have bunions and was worried bc these run narrow. But the leather really molds to your feet and these are THE most comfortable heels I have ever owned.”
These block heels were created by heels-expert Pasquale to become “walkable” heels. The almond toe doesn’t pinch your feet and the stylish block feature makes them easy to walk in.
The Lustro is one of the most comfortable designer heels in the high-end world of shoe fashion. It has padded insoles and leather lining with a patent leather upper. It’s handmade in Italy with high-quality materials. Don’t fear the 3.5-inch heels, because you can walk in them all day long without giving up and resorting to your backup flip-flops!
What women are saying: “Worth every penny! Not only stunning, but incredibly comfortable. This is the first time I have bought a pair of +3 inch heels and could wear them day one all day without pain or issues. Totally exceeded all my expectations!! ❤️”
Do you want longer-looking legs? Then go for the exquisite pair of Esther pumps from Jimmy Choo. It was designed with a d’Orsay silhouette to give the illusion that you have a super model’s legs. But really, we just love the timeless style, don’t we?
Plus, Jimmy Choo has a reputation for creating comfortable heels that are handcrafted in Italy with top-rate materials. Stunning, and with a timeless look, you can match these heels with your office power suit, or that cute mini black dress for that highly anticipated romantic date.
4. Bulla Cara Patent Square-Toe Loafers
Ooh, loafers with a heel inspired by 1970s fashion. Do you think it’s too dated? Nah. This hip and contemporary high-end shoe brand are famous for its signature heel. Not only is it super chic, but this type of heel provides sturdiness and comfort to the wearer.
Fire-engine red, square-toed, this is for stylish ladies who simply love the wider and deeper toe box that a pair of loafers can provide. You can wear them with anything from flare pants to boyfriend jeans. One of the most comfortable designer heels doesn’t have to be pumps—they can be hipster loafers, too!
5. Bottega Veneta Lido Sandals
Sandals made of Nappa leather with Bottega’s signature quilting and braided texture? Drool! This pair of slip-on sandals with impressive 3.5-inch heels is both snug and stylish.
With a mule silhouette and eye-popping color, this fashionista’s sandal is perfect with cropped jeans and an equally stylish top. Handcrafted in Italy, Bottega’s Lido heeled sandals have also gained quite a reputation for providing superior comfort for an all-day walkathon. Yes, that’s why they’re definitely not cheap.
What women are saying: “Fabulous heels! Perfect with an all black outfit to make the shoes pop! So comfortable!”
Fashion editors swear by the comfort of Prada’s timeless-looking classic pumps. The classic look can go with practically any outfit. In black or nude, this pair has a topline that gently dives low at the sides and an 85-mm stiletto heel. Beautifully slender.
The key element here is the cushioned footbed. Made in Italy, the shoes’ sole, upper, and lining are made of superior-quality leather that Prada is famous for.
What women are saying: “This is perhaps the most comfortable heels I had ever worn. I feel like the shoe is designed with human foot anatomy in mind and seems quite well designed for a heel. I have wide foot and it fits me well. It’s also a classic saffiano leather design.”

I don’t know one woman who would wear any of these styles. Can you please offer review styles that a modern woman would wear? These are for my grandmother.
Though these styles might not be for everyone, the majority of them are classic and timeless, especially #3 & #6. #5 is actually very trendy, and I know many modern women wearing them!
They are called “classics”. Pumps are a staple in any professional office. Any modern working/professional woman would wear any of these and are good investments. When you decide to purchase so-called “trendy” clothes or shoes good luck. They are not always comfortable, but most of all they come and go. Not a good value for your money. Any of these shoes shown in the article can be worn by a modern woman and look great depending how you dress it up or down.
Not trendy and not modern. Period.
Hello, Italia. The post is about the most comfortable designer heels, not the most trendy-looking ones. There are more modern-looking heels out there, but reviewers do not find them to be comfortable. Thanks for stopping by!
I loved the thoughtfulness of the article. In my head all I’m hearing is the “looks like a pump, feels like a sneaker” advert from the 80’s, where a team of business women play basketball in their ugly pumps lol. Quite fondly looking back on that. Pumps were “ in” back then so it
Was timely, and therefore ok. Anyhoo, I’d be delighted to wear granny’s heels one day. Shoutout to Taryn Rose and
Paul Greene are super comfortable, but not trendy per say…
Modern yes. I’ll pick comfort and classic or vintage over trendy bunioned talons any day!!
It’s 1 & 6 for moi! Ty for the review.
