Fun stuff
My childhood notebooks are full of dress designs, dramatic short stories, and lists detailing how I would spend my money if I won a million dollars (still holding out for that last manifestation). I’ve always loved to create, and that love has taken form in baking, embroidery, and writing. I’ve also always loved to read, which I credit my mom for, as well as the many mystery books that we read together when I was young. I look forward to Christmas every year, because one of my favorite things to do is shop for (and then elaborately wrap) gifts. After six months spent living in Dublin, Ireland and exploring Europe, I’m always looking forward to my next opportunity to travel. And if there’s one section of my closet that I could never give up, it’s my cardigan collection (please don’t make me count them).
Fun Facts:
- I loved school growing up and still love learning. In the past year, I’ve challenged myself to pick up French and embroidery.
- The biggest collection in my wardrobe is cardigans… I’ve been wearing them ever since I was young, and they’ve always felt like a warm hug!
- My latest obsession is fragrance. I recently found my signature scent, and it’s been fun diving into the world of perfumery.
- Although my cooking skills may be lacking, I love trying out new dessert recipes.
- Before I settled in the Midwest, I thought about moving to Ireland to work as a librarian and writer.
- My Instagram feed could really be renamed “Coffee and Croissants”.
- My ideal weekend would be spent shopping, stopping at a cute cafe, and then cozying up with a new book and my Australian Shepherd, Nana.
