Don’t you love it when you can wear one clothing piece in several different ways? Not only does it give your wardrobe more options, but you feel good knowing that you are purchasing items with purpose. I wanted to highlight my multipurpose Vetta blazer (not sponsored!) and show you how you can wear this one classic piece in 3 different styles. And that’s not even considering the different outfits you could create. Options? Endless!
1. As a dress
Wearing a blazer as a dress is a cute and stylish way to freshen up this wardrobe staple and make it feel more unique. This could be a cute outfit for date night or grabbing fall drinks with your girlfriends. It’s easily customizable too. Don’t want bare legs? Slip on some tights. Want to dress it up? Swap out the loafers for heeled boots.
Even if you don’t have this particular blazer, this is still a look you can easily recreate. You can do this by purchasing a women’s oversized blazer or by shopping for a blazer in the men’s department. Turn it into a dress by putting your own spin on it!
2. As a jacket
I love a good trench coat, but a plaid jacket is an equally stylish light outerwear option for fall. Of course, you don’t want to go overboard, but because chic outerwear can seriously elevate your look, can you really have too many options? (Don’t answer that.)
This is a great day-to-night piece that can easily be dressed up or down. You can dress this up with an LBD and leather boots or you can dress it down with jeans, sneakers, a basic tee, and a baseball hat for a casual chic look.
3. As a vest
Now to transform the look of this blazer into something else, simply unzip the sleeves! Now you have a vest that can easily be layered under coats for a pop of print or over long-sleeve tops.
Wearing it with jeans is a classic look, but with the longer length, it could even be worn with leggings too. Or button the vest and wear it with tights and knee-high boots for another stylish autumn look. So many options!
(FYI, the zipper is barely noticeable, but at some angles in the back, you can see it.)
Even if you don’t have this specific wardrobe piece, you can still wear your staple clothes in many different ways and maximize your wardrobe. Find out how you can do that in the next post!
