I thought it would be fun to share my inspiration for the house before I share reveals! I know these posts aren’t exactly “traffic drivers” and 2/3rds of people probably won’t care haha, but I loved stumbling across posts like these when I was thinking about my house. I find it super interesting to read what people want to do in their houses and see how it turns out!
First up: master bedroom. Everyone needs a peaceful place to go to at the end of the day where they can just unwind. Our master bedroom in the first house wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t amazing. I just felt like it could have been better, but didn’t spend the effort to do so. Which I totally should have!
Now I want to put in the effort and my goal for this room is to take the time to make it feel like a retreat and a place we want to hang out in and unwind for the day!

I know these photos don’t make the room look like much. Though I’m cheating a bit, we’ve actually already started working on the room and it honestly looks a million times better! So I can’t wait for you to see what I see.
My style is French country inspired or chic meets farmhouse. I want it to feel bright, calm, cozy, classy, and relaxing!

The room is small and doesn’t need any demo (unlike the bathroom), so I think it will be easier and more fun to do! Just a lot of shopping 🙂 Like I said earlier, we’ve already started, but because we’ve decided to hold off on wood floors for a while I don’t think I can do a full on reveal. But an update? Sure thing!
