Back in the day, everybody used to get dressed up for traveling. Nowadays you’ll see a lot more of the athleisure trend filling up those seats. Nothing wrong with that, though there are a lot of benefits to going the chic route too!

Not only do you feel good when you look good, but you’ll be all dressed and ready when you touch down on your destination! You don’t need fancy stuff to look good either! Here are the outfit formulas you need to create 3 chic travel outfits.

  1. I dress for both comfort and style! Since I travel a lot for work, I’ve done some variation of all three outfits you mentioned—they’re all great! I tend to go with some dressier leather sneakers though, especially on long haul flights. Love all these options!

  2. I love the blazer and the flats in the first outfit and the faux fur coat! The coat comes in handy too because planes are always freezing and they never seem to have a blanket. I dress for style and comfort. I”m still trying to figure out that combo when it comes to shoes; unfortunately most of the really cute shoes I’ve bought are so uncomfortable that they end up just sitting in my closet.

    1. You should try Rothys. I have a few pairs. Super comfy, come in a bunch of styles and patterns and they’re machine washable! I love wearing them for travel cause they’re easy when going through security

    2. Comfy and comfortable shoes are hard to find! I have some Sam Edelman flats that are comfy. I also found a pair from Payless that are surprisingly super comfortable too! They have that dexter comfort plus. Good luck!
