So, what makes for classy beachwear?
Well, colors are the first thing to look for. It’s no surprise that a black and white combo is a classic knockout. And of course, other neutrals can up your elevation factor. Bold colors are exciting, but they tend to read “fun” and “flirty” over classic. Nothing is wrong with that, of course, it just depends on what look you are going for and in this post, we’re focusing more on classy beachwear.
What else makes up a classy look for summer?
We all know that stripes are classic year-round (especially with straight-leg jeans) and that classic factor carries over to your beachwear too! Whether it’s a striped one-piece, striped two-piece, or even a striped cover-up, your ensemble instantly looks classier with this timeless print.
When you can, look for quality. I know that may sound a little silly considering you’re wearing these items in the sun and sand, but certain things like 100% linen clothing pieces and real leather sandals will add a nice quality touch to your look. Just keep your leather sandals away from the water!
And lastly, always say yes to gold. There’s a reason gold is associated with wealth and luxe. It just instantly elevates your look and adds an extra element of classiness!
