Valentine’s Day is just a few short weeks away and though you don’t really need an excuse to get all dressed up, this is a good opportunity to do it! With Valentine’s Day comes sparkles, sequins, hearts everywhere, and no shortage of red and pink.
I’m a big fan of those two colors and now’s the time to break them out so here are 5 outfit ideas so that you can rock these colors!
5 Red and Pink Outfits
1. pink top + red skirt + pink heels
This outfit would be great for going out for dinner if you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day. If not, the colors together still put a smile on your face!

2. red suit + pink or black heels
Suit sets are trending and I love one in a deliciously bold color, like this red. Suits are also great because you can mix and match the pieces. More bang for your buck! There’s just something about putting on a suit that makes you feel way cool.

3. pink top + pink pants + pink heels
This millennial shade of pink was pretty major a couple seasons back, but I’m still not over it. After all, how can a color go out of style? It can’t! It reminds me of bubblegum and brings out the sweeter side in you.

4. red striped sweater + red pants + ballet flats + beret
If you couldn’t tell by all of the photos, this was one of my favorite looks! I love anything that’s red or has Parisian chic vibes. This outfit would be easy to add pink to it with either pink earrings or pink flats. Related: 7 French Outfit Formulas You Can Copy

5. pink top + red skirt
Even though you can’t see the bottoms, I paired it with the same skirt as outfit #1. I like the old fashioned Victorian vibes of this top. A necklace isn’t needed, so feel free to accessorize with earrings or hair clips!
I really like these colors, whether together or separately. Red and pink are punchy, fun, interesting, and perfect for Valentine’s Day! Or just welcoming in spring with some bright, new colors. Black is a good color to wear for shoes and accessories. The dark neutral color helps ground the look. White and nude are good shoe color choices as well.
On another note, any plans for Valentine’s Day? We have a kiddo so we won’t be going out. But even if we didn’t have a kid, we’re not big fans of the Valentine’s Day night rush and would prefer to be home with takeout curled up on the couch anyways 🙂
