High cut swimsuits from the 80’s/90’s are a big thing lately and honestly, I thought I’d never wear one. I did for the sake of these photos and I can see why they’re so popular now, the high cut gives you legs for days and it’s super flattering! Though I don’t think I’d actually wear it outside of a beach day with my family, it was fun to pair it with a headscarf and cat-eye sunglasses for some vintage beach vibes!

I love how my man’s button-down works as a cover-up but doubles as a chic oversized piece too! And even though earrings are definitely not necessary haha, they add a nice, simple statement to a beach look.

And this post brings the last post to my Beach Week- check out post 1, 2, 3, & 4 if you haven’t yet!

Wow, I gotta say it was a fantastic summer! I know we still have some hot days ahead of us, but I feel like I enjoyed summer to the fullest and I’m just ready for fall now and all that comes with it! 🙂

Who else is ready for fall??

  1. I love the suit. My favs tho is actually the hat lol. I have to show my daughter as she would go crazy over it.

  2. Your photos are beautiful as always. Very artistically done! I did not know the high cut swimsuit is trending again. I used to wear one when I was in my late teens but to wear one now, at my age? Nope. I don’t think so. Hahah.

  3. Vintage images can add a nostalgic dimension to your scrapbooking. Whether they are illustrations from an artist’s hand, early photographs, or antique paper items like advertisements, newspapers or other ephemera, they lend instant artwork.

  4. love your style! everything from the straw hat to those fabulous retro glasses to the great one piece bathing suit are fabulous. also love the way you used a man’s dress shirt as a cover up!
