Are you reaching a level of “I just don’t care anymore” with your winter wardrobe?
If you are, you’re not alone.
I don’t know where you live and you may be a lot closer to spring than me, but where I live it’s just mountain after mountain of snow. Day After Tomorrow style.
Maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but that’s definitely how it feels!
It’s hard to stay motivated to look your best when you feel like you’re in #survivalmode. And #canitbespringyetmode.
But let’s not give up (cue inspiring and dramatic background music)!
Let’s finish out the season strong and on a stylish note with these quick tips for your winter outfits!
- Statement faux fur coat– Since your coat is the first and main thing people will see of you in the winter, go with a statement like this faux fur one! Not only will you stay warm but you’ll look super stylish too.
- Detailed gloves- We all gotta wear gloves, but don’t overlook them as a place to add some extra pizazz! Whether it’s a fun print, color, or jewels, it’s all in the details.
- Good boots- Boots are a given, but the style is up to you depending on your personality! Leopard print boots, combat boots, so many cute options!
- Sunglasses- Sunglasses are one of those “cool girl” elements that are a must have in my opinion. No, it’s not summer, but hey, snow can be bright! 😉
- Fun hat– Accessories are key, I like to say! Finish off your look with a fun topper.
hat- Amazon, part of this set
coat- ThredUP, similar here
gloves- Urban Outfitters
sunglasses- similar here
boots- Saks off 5th, similar here
We’re almost there!
In the meantime, let me know some spring/summer content that you’d be excited to see!

Finally someone who understands REAL winter and not those sunny, sub tropical “winters” people who get in southern states. It’s nice to see winter outfit pieces shot IN SNOW! Loving the jacket and gloves!
Aw well thank you 🙂 I will say I have a hard time relating to those winters that are in California, etc haha!
You look so chic and warm! I’m in Southern California, so I don’t need any of those pieces except for the fab sunglasses. Kinda missing cold weather so I could put this look together (no, not really, but I thought you looked great) Love the fact that you took winter pictures in the cold, snowy outdoors and not just in front of a mirror.
Thanks for the kind words! I gotta say I wouldn’t mind living in California!!
Winter has come and you have slayed!
Aw well you’re sweet 🙂
Feeling the same way! I am getting sick of my winter clothes.
It’s about time to break out the spring clothes!
That fur animal print jacket is everything!!! So chic! And I love how you styled it with jeans!
Thanks! I love anything chic haha!
I love a faux fur coat, but only if it is fleece lined all the way down the sleeves. I spent 16 years in Montana where winters are serious business, and I”ll never own a coat that isn’t fleece lined down the sleeves ever again! Anything else and you’ll freeze to death.
Good point about the fleece lined! Warmth first!
I love this outfit and am SO READY for spring!!!!
This is one of my favorite looks of yours. I love the layers!

So happy you like it!
You look sooo great! I LOVE that coat! I’m seriously beyond ready for spring. I’m lucky enough to live where it isn’t incredibly cold or snowy, but I’m such a warm weather person that anything below 70 is just no fun for me lol
Haha I can relate to that!
That jacket is so fab on you!! I’m in SoCal and while we don’t have snow it’s been crazy chilly here– I don’t have enough winter clothes for all this cold and rain 😀 Super ready for spring!
Hehe I’m ready right there with you!
I’m so ready for Winter to be over but loving those boots! You look so cozy
I’m so ready for it to be over too!
If only I could be this effortlessly stylish! Love that coat and hat situation. And your layering is adorable!
Thank you for the kind words!!
I love this faux fur coat! But would probably only be able to wear it a few more times, come on Spring! 🙂 xo, Suzanne http://www.suzannespiegoski.com
Right! Come, spring!
This is so such a cute winter look!! The temps have been so cold here too! Always love a faux fur jacket and those sunglasses are so cute too!
It’s so weird seeing everyone post pictures of flowers blooming!
