Belt bags. You see this loved and hated trend everywhere in the fashion magazines, runways, and on the Insta feed of some mega fashion bloggers. You might be wondering if people actually wear these things out in public. You know, where there are actual people out and about and not just for a photo?

Well, I did. I wore it shopping, out to eat, and to the coffee shop. Did I get looks? You betcha. Did I care? No, not really. It was seriously so handy to be hands-free but be able to keep my phone, money, and chapstick all in one place! It makes shopping easier. You know, the important things 😉

So here’s how: don’t go overboard. Keep it really casual. Jeans, sneakers, and a graphic tee. It’s a winning combo and it works!

You might not see jeans and sneakers walking down the runway, but sometimes runway fashion does not translate into everyday fashion.

There are a lot of designer ones out there but this is definitely one of those things where I don’t think you need to invest in that. You can spend under $20 to have fun with the trend but not commit to it. Unless you see yourself wearing these all the time then, by all means, drop a grand on it if that’s your thing! 😉

Now I won’t say I looooove this trend. If you make fun of it I probably won’t defend it. But I do think it’s fun. And who knows, I may be over it tomorrow. But guess what baby, that’s the world of FASHUN. One day you’re in, and the next day you’re out.

What other old-school things do you think will come back as trends?

    1. It can be a little nerve-wracking, especially if you don’t live in a fashion-forward place haha. Happy it helped!
