Even though my mind has most definitely moved on to fall, I still wanted to share some beautiful summer photos featuring this white dress that were just sitting in my drafts. Though I’m ready for the change in seasons, weather, and well, just life in general, looking through these photos reminded me that though summer was not what we hoping for, it still ended up being beautiful. As long as you were willing to look at it through new eyes.

That’s how I felt about the photos taken here at my local arboretum. The arboretum is one of my favorite spots and not only have I been here a million times, but I’ve actually taken other people’s photos in this same spot. So to me, everything was the “same old”. But when you’re mostly town bound, you don’t have many other choices besides visiting your same old spots again and again.

We’ve been doing a lot of picnics here, so I decided to look at this spot through new eyes and when I did, I didn’t see the same old, but instead, I saw a beautiful European courtyard that made my heart soar. Now maybe you’ll get a life lesson in here somewhere or maybe you’ll just enjoy looking at some beautiful photographs haha. Either way, enjoy, and thanks for stopping by my blog today!
