This is day 3 and the last part in my NYFW/ New York trip series. Check out day 1 and day 2!
Day 3
This day was the go, go, go day! It was once again an early morning getting for the day’s events and shows.
My first show of the day was Dan Liu. I didn’t take many photos because there were people that would stand up to try to get pictures and limited my view. I knew I could always find pictures online so I tried to enjoy what I could! Here are some of my favorite looks taken from Getty Images:
In line waiting for the Dan Liu show, I met David, a photographer from The Electronic Owl. He is super, super talented and we found out it was both of our first time there and we were attending the same shows! It was nice to not be totally alone and be able to talk about the styles with someone.
After Dan Liu was Hakan Akkaya. This show was really cool! Though I wouldn’t have worn all the styles, I can appreciate a unique point of view and good craftsmanship. (Photos from Getty Images)
During this time Titus was walking around and visiting attractions he’s always wanted to see. After both shows we had a brunch at a cute cafe nearby then got ready for the next event!

The next show was Kepaza by Pernille Fristad. It was at the Stewart Hotel which was a gorgeous venue and all the seats had really nice goodie bags! The designer was from Sweden and had a playful and fun aesthetic. Different from my style, but it’s interesting to see the styles from other designers and countries.
Now off to the third outfit change and final event of the night! My whole trip actually started off with an invitation from Milané Noir. They’re a newer clothing company based out of NYC and they invited me to their clothing launch inspired by Cuba! I really liked these clothes. They were cute and ready to wear and had me longing to go to Cuba myself!
That was definitely a full day and the next day was just spend packing and traveling to head back to Iowa. Overall I’m just grateful to God for the whole experience and the people I got to meet and the things I got to do! And I’m thankful for you guys reading about my trip!
“For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.”
